The KiwiCo Story

Sandra Oh Lin founded KiwiCo after years working at PayPal, eBay, and Procter & Gamble. As a busy working mom, she struggled to find quality, educational activities for her children. Her market research revealed that parents wanted to expose their kids to STEAM concepts but lacked the time, energy, or resources to execute homemade projects.

The solution? Pre-designed, all-inclusive activity crates that arrive ready to explore. Sandra named the company after New Zealand’s iconic kiwi bird - a nod to her love for the country’s natural beauty and the adventurous spirit of its people.

From Startup to Industry Leader

What started as a single crate concept has expanded into 8 distinct product lines serving kids from birth through adulthood. KiwiCo has raised $10.1 million from investors including First Round Capital and Comcast Ventures, and now also operates KiwiCo Education, serving over 10,000 schools and organizations.
